Matthew Dobler grew up in Lake Elsinore spending his days on Lake Elsinore and Canyon Lake, where he developed a deep passion for both water and community service. After returning to his hometown, he became actively involved in serving the community through roles such as a member of the Lake Elsinore Planning Commission, a board member of the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce, and a volunteer with the local Food Pantry.
As the founder and principal of Dobler Strategies, Matthew leads a full-service public affairs and consulting firm, offering expertise in public relations, marketing, direct mail, community mobilization, outreach, strategic communication, and media relations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University, San Marcos, and currently resides in Lake Elsinore. Matthew also serves as Chief of Staff in the California Legislature, where he works on state policy issues impacting local governments and infrastructure.
Matthew Dobler was elected as Board Director in 2024.
